The Wayne Dalton FireStar® 700 is DOORTEC's standard rolling steel fire door specification for Oklahoma City commercial and industrial facilities. The patented planetary gear drop mechanism is a meaningful advance over traditional fire door designs — it allows any staff member to drop-test and reset the door in compliance with NFPA 80 inspection requirements without tools, without resetting spring tension, and without calling a service technician. Over the life of a fire door installation, this capability significantly reduces the cost and friction of mandatory testing compliance.
DOORTEC installs the FireStar® 700 throughout Oklahoma City, Edmond, Norman, Moore, Yukon, Midwest City, Guthrie, El Reno, and the OKC metro. All installations are completed per NFPA 80 requirements. We provide AHJ documentation as required and offer ongoing fire door inspection and testing services for facilities under ongoing compliance obligations. Call (405) 720-7107 for a free commercial site assessment.
DOORTEC's Tulsa location serves the greater Tulsa metro with the Wayne Dalton FireStar® fire door line. Tulsa's manufacturing, warehouse, and food service sectors include many facilities with code-required fire door installations — where the FireStar® 700's simplified testing procedure provides a long-term operational advantage over standard fire door mechanisms.
For Tulsa and Oklahoma City facilities comparing the FireStar® 700 (non-insulated) against the FireStar® 700C (insulated with mineral wool), the key question is whether thermal separation is also required at the fire-rated opening. DOORTEC's commercial team can assess your specific opening requirements and recommend the correct model. Contact us at (405) 720-7107 or doortec.com.
